A new hearing protector rating: The Noise Reduction Statistic (NRSA) [Report to U.S. EPA]

In 2003 the U. S. EPA announced their intention to revise the hearing protector labeling regulation. As part of the process the EPA requested a report from ANSI S12/WG11, chaired by Elliott Berger, on recommendations for new hearing protector ratings. This report, completed by Gauger and Berger was completed in 2004.
